Who Can Join?
​
Naturally Captive's Parrot Free Flight Club is for anyone who wants to start their parrot's free flight journey. Whether that journey stays within indoor free flight, or progresses to outdoor free flight.
​
We do not only promote the outdoor free flight of larger parrot species. Rather, we advocate all degrees of free flight, for every size and shape of parrot. Whether you want to let your lovebird fly freely indoors, or join our outdoor excursions with your macaw.

Anyone who would like to join must first apply below, and wait for feedback on whether you and your bird(s) qualify to become a member.
Club Standards:
There are a few standards that members will be expected to live up to in order to remain part of the club. Please take note of the following:

1. Club members can only become such after completing the Naturally Captive Free Flight Course.
​
2. A club member's birds must care for their bird(s) according to the Naturally Captive way. This includes implementing our methods of diet, environment and training which will be taught in the forementioned free flight course.
​
3. A club member's bird(s) must be flown at their own risk. Any loss or injury of birds will be their responsibility.
​
4. A club member's bird(s) must only be flown in good health, and all club birds must receive an annual vet check up from a qualified avian vet.
​
5. Club members must do their absolute best to train with, exercise and stimulate their bird(s) on a daily basis.
​
6. Club members may be subject to a yearly membership fee in the future.

Free flight is an incredible, rewarding and life changing journey. There is no better way to bond with your bird than giving them the respect, dignity and stimulation that free flight training provides.
However, staying consistent in this journey and not backing down takes support and courage, as free flight comes with it's challenges and stresses.
